Diane
Bubeck, L.M.F.T., R.D., C.L.T.,
is
a registered and licensed dietitian and a licensed
marriage and family therapist. She received her
M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Adler
School of Professional Psychology in 1999. Her
B.S. in Medical Dietetics is from the University
of Illinois Medical Center in 1980. Diane is also
a Certified LEAP Therapist.
As
the first Consulting Dietitian for Linden Oaks
Hospital in Naperville, she assisted in the development
of the Eating Disorders Program. There, she was
responsible for the nutritional therapy for the
eating disorder unit, and monitoring and assessing
the nutritional status of residents. She also
was a Clinical Renal Dietitian at the University
of Illinois for both dialysis and transplant patients
and was a Clinical Dietitian for the medical,
pediatric and oncology units at Hinsdale Hospital.
In
addition, Diane was the Consulting Dietitian at
Chateau Village Living Center where she assessed
the nutritional status of long-term care residents.
She has taught weight loss programs at both Hinsdale
Hospital's Center for Health Promotions and Edward
Hospital's Women's Center for Health.
Diane
Bubeck conducts her practice in the comfort of
her home office. Here she assesses the nutritional
status of patients referred by physicians and
therapists, provides individual nutritional counseling
and utilizes her expertise and specialization
in eating disorders and weight normalization.
In addition, as a marriage and family therapist,
she provides counseling on issues for individuals,
couples and families.
